“A Newlyweds Christmas”

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. However, it all starts with a tiff between the two lovebirds. As Jessica fiddles with her broken phone, her hubby plays a Christmas tune for her that he has recently recorded. Jessica laughs and says she doesn’t like it, which hurts Nick’s feelings.

The couple gets past the quarrel and it doesn’t stop Nick from having a brand new walk-in closet made for his wife for Christmas. The closet comes equipped with organizers for Jessica’s mess of clothes, which leaves us wondering if the gift is really for Jessica–or neat-freak Nick.

Jessica states that she and Nick “juggle both of the families” during Christmas time, and they will be celebrating with Nick’s family first. Before they get on the plane, Jessica’s luggage tests positive for explosive materials. She laughs as Nick makes one of his trademark remarks: “I always knew you were the bomb.”

Jessica has no idea what to get Nick for Christmas, so he suggests a hook-up guarantee: three times a week. Jessica seems to be concerned–that might not leave her enough time to shop.

As the Christmas festivities begin, Jessica watches in disgust as her husband consumes a meat pie made by his granny. The rest of the day goes smoothly, and the whole family poses for a group picture.

The next stop on the family tour was Jessica’s grandparents’ house. Jessica stands by and watches as everyone takes part in hanging lights and decorating the lawn. She’s saving her energy for the next day, Christmas Eve, when the Simpson family goes to her Aunt Sally’s house to sing Christmas songs. By the end of the day, Jessica is very tired from singing and eating venison, and she turns to Nick and says “Christmas in L.A., next year.” She may be a true Southerner, but she has turned into a California girl.

After a nice big breakfast on Christmas morning, Jessica is showered with gifts that include a brand new Mercedes, pink Uggs, and two diamond bracelets from Nick. That is incentive to go back home for Christmas next year. Poor Nick is not as lucky in the gift department and receives only a boxing trainer from his wife.

When the two return home, after a wonderful holiday week, Nick shows Jessica one last gift–her new closet. She is amazed at how organized it is, and thanks her husband profusely. One can assume, it will only be a few days before there is stuff all over the floor.
