Father

Joe Truett Simpson (born February 17, 1958, in Bexar County, Texas, United States, to Curtis T. Simpson and Joyce Alice Adams) is the manager of singers Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson (both of whom are his daughters) and Ryan Cabrera. He appeared frequently on the reality television shows of both his daughters, Newlyweds and The Ashlee Simpson Show. He is married to Tina Simpson.
In a GQ magazine interview, he said about his daughter Jessica: “Jessica never tries to be sexy. She just is sexy. If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she’s sexy in both. She’s got double D’s! You can’t cover those suckers up!”
He formerly was a Baptist minister at the Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, TX. As of 2005, he has a new record label, Papa Joe Records. He’s the one Jessica turns to for advice.

Mother

Tina Ann Simpson (maiden name Drew, born January 18, 1960) a former Sunday School teacher. She’s Jessica’s best friend and stylist, they love to shop together.

Sister

Ashlee Nicole Simpson (born October 3, 1984) is an American pop rock singer–songwriter and actress, and the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson. Simpson rose to prominence in mid-2004 through the success of her number-one debut album Autobiography and the accompanying reality series The Ashlee Simpson Show. Following a North American concert tour and a film appearance, Simpson released a second number-one album, I Am Me, in late 2005.
