Just so you know: the song Jessica has been working on in the studio with Billy Corgan and Kerry Brown is for her upcoming tv show “The Price Of Beauty” and despite of the news from various portals and blogs she has not started working on the new album. Thought I’d clear this up as I’ve been reading a lot of news reports regarding the photos posted on twitter and most of them claim it’s the new album they’ve been working on. It’s not. At least for now
Continuing work on her upcoming “The Price of Beauty” show on VH1, Jessica Simpson was spotted out in Mumbai, India on Monday (October 26). The “Come on Over” songstress looked to be thoroughly enjoying herself, showing evidence of her cultural relevance with a bindi dot on her forehead.
Hollywood diva Jessica Simpson has confirmed on Twitter her impending visit to India.
On Twitter Simpson wrote: “@kenpaves and I are going to India!!!!”
Ken Paves is a celebrity hairstylist out of Beverly Hills (USA). She will reportedly shoot in India starting next week for her VH1 docu-series show “The Price of Beauty”.
In this show, Simpson will reportedly get some beauty pointers from Bollywood actress-model Neha Dhupia (Singh is Kinng), 29, who was quoted as saying: “I know for sure that Jessica will be draped in a saree.”
Simpson reportedly may also study the local dietary fads, beauty regimes and fashions and even take part in some of the extreme practices she finds out.
Simpson will be throwing a grand Bollywood party after completing this shooting, reports indicate.
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has urged Simpson to spend some time in an ashram (hermitage) while in India and explore Hinduism for solace, reinventing her, and to bring meaning to her life. Ashram stay might help bring Simpson tranquility, spirituality and serenity, Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, added in a statement in Nevada (USA) today.
Zed says that ashram is a place of retreat usually used for spiritual development and India is full of them. Even Lord Krishna himself went to sage Sandipani’s ashram to gain knowledge.
Hollywood is coming to Bollywood, again! And this time it’s to talk beauty! MTV reality star and pop singer Jessica Simpson is taking her new VH1 show “The Price of Beauty” to B-town to get some beauty tips from “Bollywood Hero” actress Neha Dhupia.
As part of the show, Jessica travels the world to meet everyday women or local pop culture celebs to find out how far they are ready to go to get good looks. The docu-series also talks about local fashion and diets. And now it’s time for Jessica to hit B-town for some ideas on how to get gorgeous Bollywood style!
“I am really looking forward to discovering how beauty is perceived in different cultures and participating in some of the crazy things people do to feel beautiful. I know we will all learn a lot on this journey and I am so excited that VH1 is coming along on what I’m sure will be a wild ride,” “The Dukes of Hazzard” actress told VH1’s Web site.
So what advice can Jessica Simpson expect from “Singh Is Kinng” actress Neha Dhupia? Well for starters, the Desi hottie is planning on debunking a few rumors about Indian beauty.
“I said we wear (sarees) only on special occasions. In keeping with my personality, I’ll wear something Indo-Western for the show. But I know for sure that Jessica will be draped in a saree,” Neha told The Times of India.
Jessica Simpson lost her beloved pooch to a coyote in California last month, but she tells FOX411 she’s staying strong with the help of her parents and friends. The 29 year-old singer is filming her new VH1 show “The Price of Beauty,” and admits that traveling for the show is keeping her sane.
We caught up with Jessica at the QVC “FFany Shoes on Sale” event on Tuesday, where she was raising money for breast cancer research. “I want to use my celebrity to bring awareness,” Simpson told FOX411. “My life is full of chaos and craziness, and my grandmother had the strength to pull through and fight through cancer, so if I can use my celebrity, or my shoes, or my brand to somehow bring awareness, I am here to help.”
To help cope with the loss of 5 year-old Daisy, given to her as a gift by ex-husband Nick Lachey, and her recent break-up with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Jessica is keeping herself distracted with work.
“I’ve been traveling all over the world lately and I’ve worn caftans, I’ve been a geisha – I never thought I would wear those things, and I feel beautiful,” she said. “My mom or my dad, my best friend Ken and my other best friend Cacee have been traveling with me for the show.”
“Morocco was one of my favorite places in the world. We hung out with snake charmers! I thought it was incredibly beautiful how mysterious the women were there. They have sex appeal and power about them that is extremely mysterious and very covered,” she continued. “They leave a lot to the imagination, and they only work with their eyes, and your eyes are the window to your soul. The women there have had a life of soul searching and really understand who they are. Moroccan women are the most beautiful I’ve been in contact with.”
Simpson said feels great now, even though she no longer has time for hour-long workouts. “I’m running through airports right now, and the past week I lived in couscous – we’re trying all different kinds of food!” she said. “I’m feeling very comfortable in my own skin.”
In fact, Simpson has been so busy that she’s barely been able to catch her sister, Ashlee Simpson Wentz, on the new “Melrose Place.”
“I’ve been using TIVO so much because I’ve been on the road!” she said “There are no limits for Ashlee. I look up to her.”
Jessica’s famous hair stylist Ken Paves also filled us in on her Moroccan look for the new show. “Jessica actually does her own make-up for the show – it’s reality!” Paves telss FOX411. “I may pull her hair back in a ponytail, but she isn’t doing hair and makeup. All of the countries we have visited celebrate women and their uniqueness and individuality. This definition of beauty in women is more about self and not what we do to the outside.”

Fresh from a transatlantic flight, Jessica Simpson was spotted arriving at Heathrow International Airport in London, England today (September 22). Accompanied by stylist BFF Ken Paves, the “Come on Over” songstress looked a bit down as she strolled past paparazzi hiding behind a pair of sunglasses and carrying a massive handbag.
