I have an amazing fan encounter to share today of my friend Amanda meeting Jessica & Ashlee in Charlotte last week! Amanda was so kind and shared her very detailed encounter and made a fantastic video from her experience for us exclusively! Thank you Amanda!! So happy for you!!

First here is a little about my love for Jessica and attempts to meet her in the past:

Since Jessica’s first CD, Sweet Kisses, hit the airwaves in 1999 I have been a HUGE fan. I loved her voice, everything she stood for, her Christian roots, her sweet and down to earth personality. I was only 12 years old in 1999 and she became my idol. I didn’t always have the easiest days in middle school and high school and her music always helped get me through. I was a true fan for life. I attended my FIRST concert of hers in July 4th 2004 – The Reality Tour Live. My mom and I had FRONT ROW tickets and it was one the greatest experiences of my life!! On this tour fans could have paid to meet Jessica backstage and to hangout on stage during the show. At that time I did not have the money and was so jealous of the fans that got that experience! I said to myself then that one of my goals in life was to meet her one day and have a picture taken with her. I just wanted the opportunity to meet her once! In November 2007 my mom and I went into NYC, leaving NJ around 4am to stand in the standby line for The View on the morning Jessica was a guest…”
