Jessica Simpson often finds herself unlucky in love, but these days she’s declaring herself “blessed.”

While tales of a rather unexpected hookup with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan hit the Net early last month—complete with photos of the two out and about in New York City—both singers have been mostly mum on the rumored romance.

But now, Tony Romo, Nick Lachey and John Mayer’s ex is admitting to teaming up with the “Cherub Rock” singer…at least in the studio.

“I am blessed,” she says with a link to one of two photos of the pair. “He braids my prayers.”

Other photo links come with the happy-time feelings of “fun to be lost in laughter.”

But the question remains, are they enjoying working together or something a bit more than that?

Jessica Simpson is certainly a supportive sister. But she must be a big fan of Broadway’s “Razzle Dazzle” as well: Simpson has stepped out to see sister Ashlee in Chicago no less than five times in a month!

Jessica first attended the show on Nov. 30, which was Ashlee’s Broadway debut, at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City. “Roxie was all Heart!” Jessica tweeted of her sister’s performance as Roxie Hart. “Watching her up on that grandiose stage made me the proudest sister in the world. I love ya honey, I love ya!. Grrrrrrr”

The next night, Dec. 1, Jessica was back again, tweeting this time: “Night #2 I’m so proud!! Butterflies all over again!!!” And after taking a night off, it seems Jessica went through withdrawal because she returned to see Chicago on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4.

And on Dec. 23, she was back!

The first time, however, that Simpson saw her sister in Chicago was on Sept. 25, 2006, when Ashlee appeared in a West End production of the show in London.

Jessica Simpson went to jail Friday morning in West Hollywood, California — but, not to worry, she herself was not in any legal trouble.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies tell RadarOnline.com that Simpson was there to try to bail out her friend, makeup artist Mary Phillips.

Simpson was ready to pay her $250 bail, until deputies told her “she (Phillips) was too drunk to go home and needed to stay at the Sheriff’s jail until she sobers up.” So Jessica left the scene.

Phillips — who has worked for Jessica in the past — was arrested at 1:30am (PST) for allegedly being drunk in public at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood.

UPDATE: Mary Phillips has now been released from custody and given a citation. Jessica Simpson did not return.

Jessica Simpson is so angry over Star magazine linking her to Tiger Woods that the buxom blond may sue the celebrity rag.

Various media report that the singer is threatening legal action against the publication after it ran a cover story claiming she was the latest addition to the golfer’s growing harem.

“Tiger liked what he saw and let her know it,” a source allegedly told Star.

Simpson took to Twitter yesterday to lash out at the supposed fabrication.

“Can’t believe that I’m on the cover of star magazine with Tiger Woods, what a JOKE! ‘The Shocking Inside Story’ is (insert drumroll) A LIE!”

Featuring a cover photo of Simpson and Woods together, Star reported that the duo exchanged e-mail addresses and phone numbers after meeting at the AT&T National Pro-Am golf tournament in Bethesda, Md.

Celebrity gossip site amygrindhouse.com says Simpson is now consulting lawyers over the story.

The songstress has threatened legal action against publications in the past. She lashed out at OK!, seeking legal help after the magazine allegedly falsely reported on her and boyfriend Tony Romo.

Romo, a Dallas Cowboys quarterback, turns out to be one of Woods’ celebrity friends. On Thursday, TMZ published photos of the duo at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tex. in October, watching a U2 concert. An unidentified blond woman appears in Romo’s party box as well.

Meanwhile, Woods appears to be suffering in the wake of disappearing sponsorships following the revelation that the father of two has had numerous extramarital affairs.

His wife of five years, Elin Nordegren, is reportedly in the midst of working on a multimillion-dollar divorce strategy.

Simpson’s rep, however, calls the whole scenario “ridiculous.”

“Literally the only thing that’s true in the story is the fact that they met,” the publicist tells E! News. “It was a quick meeting, and they posed for a photo together—that was it. Jessica’s lawyer is sending them a letter this afternoon.”

And it won’t be wishing them a merry Christmas.

In its latest issue, Star magazine claims the golfer — who has allegedly cheated on is wife with a string of different women — had a sizzling meeting with Simpson just days before her split with Tony Romo. The pair were said to have crossed paths at the AT&T National Pro-Am golf tournament in Bethesda, Md.

“Tiger liked what he saw and let her know it,” a source said.

“Jessica said that she felt like Tony wasn’t paying attention to her, so she was like, ‘What the heck!’

“She decided to have fun with Tiger whether it bothered Tony or not.”

But Simpson’s rep has spoken out to set the record straight.

“This story is so fabricated, it’s disgusting,” the spokesperson said.
