Jessica Simpson To Write Second Book With Nick
MTV News reports Jessica Simpson is set for a follow-up to her previous how-to book, 'I Do: Achieving Your Dream Wedding'. Simpson wants to do a follow-up, now that she's had her first anniversary with her husband, Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees. 'How to Survive the First Year of Marriage' would be written by both Simpson and Lachey as part of a three-book deal her agent is currently shopping to New York publishers. While part of the proposed deal would be to take over distribution of the existing Simpson wedding book, the other book would be called 'Jessica's Rules,' and would be a compendium of her "wisdom." Sorry for the delay with todays updates, as you know Christina Aguilera hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards last night and as I also run a Christina site I was quite busy adding pictures etc. Anyway, here are today's updates: Newlyweds ditz of the sea Jessica Simpson has signed a secret deal with ABC to headline her own sitcom, according to a report in Friday's New York Post. CBS, meanwhile, has tapped ex-Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff to headline her own sitcom pilot targeted for next fall. Jessica Simpson: Housewife of the Year?!
Reality babe and sultry singer JESSICA SIMPSON is staking her claim on the cover of Rolling Stone's latest issue, and she's talking bodies, Britney and -- brace yourself! -- breasts!

In the November 27th issue of the mag, on stands November 7th, Jessica reveals she's had a tough time separating herself from the pop princess playing field: "Everyone was always like, 'Who's Jessica Simpson? Oh, She's like BRITNEY or CHRISTINA' ... it was so hard on me."

Enter MTV's voyeuristic sensation "Newlyweds," in which Jessica and husband NICK LACHEY invited the cameras in on their private, daily life at home in L.A. The series has catapulted the too-cute couple to a whole new level of celebrity, and Jessica is even okay with people poking fun at her inability to clean house, her befuddlement over the ingredients of canned tuna and her many moments of "blonde-ness."

"I am ditzy at times," she tells ET at her photo shoot, "but I'm not dumb, by any means. I think the way I'm portrayed is funny. I love to watch it with Nick and just laugh at myself ... I think that's the healthy way to look at the show."

Her chief complaint, besides wanting an interior designer for their new pad? Her cup size! "My boobs are just too much -- people look," she complains. Yet Jessica also says that while dieting at one point, "they" shrunk down to a size B, which was too small for her. Her dream size? A "C"!

Jessica also talks to the mag about losing her virginity to Lachey (she was brought up with a minister father, so it was understood she would be a virgin until marriage). "Nick was the first person to touch my body ... swear." And Jessica has high hopes for their union. People have called her dumb as a rock, but JESSICA SIMPSON is clever enough to land herself the cover of Rolling Stone. Jessica says she's totally comfortable with people making fun of her. "Why not?" she asks. "I watch it with Nick and we rewind it and watch it again and I laugh at myself because that's all I can do." Jessica also wasn't the least bit offended by JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE's spoof of her on Saturday Night Live, saying, "I thought he was hysterical." Us Weekly has details behind Jessica Simpson and her husband Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees celebrating their first wedding anniversary on October 26th at Atlantic City's Taj Mahal. The couple stayed at the 5,000 square feet suite usually reserved for royalty, butler included, and New York City's Trump Plaza. A horse and buddy took the couple to dinner at Tavern on the Green, where their original baker, Sam Godfrey, sent a replica of their wedding cake. "Nick had a room set up with bouquets and candles," Simpson said. "It looked like we walked into our wedding ceremony." Of course MTV cameras followed the couple for the next season of 'Newlyweds'. Jessica Simpson's outbursts on her hit reality TV show have spawned a new catchphrase across America - "pulling a Jessica".

The Irresistible singer - who with husband Nick Lachey, stars in MTV's Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica - has become the focus of much mocking since failing to tell the difference between tuna and chicken and thinking Buffalo wings were made of actual buffalo meat.

Billboard caught up with Dell Furano, CEO of Signatures Networks, which handles licensing for Jessica Simpson. Furano revealed that despite the many advertisers wanting Simpson to endorse their products, don't look for a Simpson clothing line. As many of you noticed the site has been suspended for one day. The cause of that is some problem with the site and server, there is something that needs to be fixed. The admin is trying to sort it out but the site can get suspended again :( Unfortunately. The hotlinking has been disabled so you cannot direct link pictures, avatars etc from here anymore, due to the problems we are experiencing. I hope it will be sorted out soon.
