When asked by Time Out New York, "So, what about Jessica? According to Extra, you can't deny you're a couple anymore,"

Jessica Simpson Gifts Orphanage with Wheels
Jessica Simpson has a big fan in Mexico: Mama Lupita, who runs the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo.
"Last week, someone asked Mama Lupita if she could use a van at the orphanage," a source close to Simpson tells PEOPLE.
"Mama Lupita said, 'We have no transportation at all. Of course we could use it.' So then she was told that she was getting
a brand new eight-passenger van from Jessica Simpson for the orphanage."
Adds the source: "She started to cry for three minutes straight and then said, 'I can't wait to give Jessica a big hug.' "
Simpson, 26, had won a Chrysler Crossfire sports car at a swag suite at the MTV's Video Music Awards in the fall, but she
asked Chrysler to exchange it for a minivan so she could help out the orphanage, the source says.
A spokesperson for Chrysler confirms: "Instead of the Chrysler Crossfire, she decided to get a minivan for the orphanage
instead. She went for the Chrysler Town & Country."
The van will be delivered early next month.
And Mama Lupita will soon have another reason to give Simpson a hug: The singer is auctioning off the sexy red dress she
wears in her new Pizza Hut commercial, which debuted during the Super Bowl.
"She selling the dress on eBay," says the source. "Proceeds from the dress will also go to help Casa Hogar."
Why is she doing all of this? "The orphanage means so much to her," the source says. "She wants to help Mama Lupita
and everyone in the orphanage." People.com

The Grammy-winning singer-guitarist was asked by E! commentator Ryan Seacrest on the Grammy red carpet about Jessica
Simpson, to whom Mayer has recently been romantically linked. Mayer answered in Japanese and then suggested Seacrest get
someone to "decode" what he said and "subtitle it."
The translation came back that Mayer had said Simpson is "very beautiful" and that "you are the last to know."
Though Mayer and Simpson have been photographed together of late - prompting tabloid speculation - they have both declined
to describe their relationship. In a recent article in Elle magazine, Simpson said: "I want to tell you everything, but I

Jessica Simpson is just setting herself up for disappointment. She has set herself a challenge - to learn to speak fluent

Simpson Goes Red With New Marilyn Look
Blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson has gone red after playing around with hairstyles.
The singer enlisted the help of good friend and hair stylist Ken Paves to create a new red-head look for her after deciding
on a major makeover.
The stylist to the stars explains, "We were just having fun and playing with her hairdo... and Jessica just loved it.
(Jessica) calls it an 'auburn ginger.'
"It was just what she wanted. She wore that colour as extensions and just loved it so much that she decided she wanted to
have her (real) hair coloured."
Paves said the look was inspired by old Hollywood glamour adding, "It's a throw back to Norma Jean (Marilyn Monroe). It
has a very Marilyn Monroe feel.

TMZ's cameraman didn't even recognize Simpson as she entered Mr. Chow, prompting the star to turn around and remind him who

As Simpson chowed down at Chow, the waiting paparazzi grew from one camera to a full-on wall of photogs, who all

Jessica Simpson's four-legged friend obviously doesn't have to worry about keeping up when she goes walkies with her owner.
The two-year-old dog, who is named Daisy after the blonde bombshell's character in The Dukes Of Hazard, hitched a ride in a
specially designed "doggie bag" when she accompanied the singer on a shopping trip this week.
The 25-year-old actress is well-known for her affection for the animal, which she received as a birthday present from
ex-husband Nick Lachey. "She goes with me everywhere," the performer once said. "It's preparing me to be a mother, I think."
And it would seem the diminutive star is eager to start a family before too long. "I want to adopt before I actually have my
own kids," she said recently. "I want three kids - but I don't know if I can give birth three times. I'll have to see how
much pain is involved first time round!"
Never one to shy away from a challenge, Jessica is also determined to make a positive impact on the lives of those around
her. "Ever since I was a kid I said I wanted to save the world somehow," she explained. "I think I'll end up doing things

HMV (The UK's largest music retailer) have chose "A Public Affair" as their SINGLE OF THE WEEK!!!
So I went in to HMV yesterday - and some guy who works there was clearing out all the new release slots and moving the
singles into the chart accordingly. So I went up to him and I said "Excuse me - can you tell me what single of the week is
gonna be tomorow?" and he was like "yeah sure" - so he got this list out of his pocket and opened it up then turned to me
and said "So ... who do you want to be single of the week?" so I almost jumped down his throat with "JESSICA SIMPSON!!!!"
before he could finish his sentance! At which point my friend chirped in "If it's Jessica please don't tell him cos I'll
kill myself" and he went "Aaaah well it's a good job it's not her then - its the 3 non blondes, she's a bit crap anyway
though so it doesn't matter!"
Then I was really childish and asked him if he minded if i put JoJo cds in front of Nick's singles? (He didn't) (And it's
also nice to add that he was clearly a Lacheyater cos he never moved JoJo out of the front of Nick either by this morning).

Jessica Simpson says seeing Nick Lachey with another woman after their split was painful.
"Oh, it hurt me," Simpson tells Elle in its March issue. "Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I'd say it kind of hurt me."
(After their November 2005 separation, her ex was photographed with Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari. He's now dating
MTV's Vanessa Minnillo.)
But Simpson, 26, says she's still in touch with Lachey, 33. "He's so much a part of my life, how could I not be? Any guy
who's going to be with me from this day forward has to understand that."
She won't say whether that guy could be John Mayer, 29, with whom she's been linked off and on since the summer.
"I want to tell you everything, but I have to sew my lips together," she says. "It's hurt me in the past." (Still, a glimpse
of her e-mail inbox reveals a block of about 10 e-mails from Mayer, including one with the subject line, "Texas girl.")
When the interviewer comments, "I feel that with this new privacy of yours, I'm going to wake up one morning, pick up the
paper and read ..." Simpson interjects: "That I'm married! Maybe."
Asked if she's "totally in love right now," Simpson grins and says, "I didn't say yes."
If she's taking pains to keep her love life low-profile, it's because of the tabloid firestorm set off by her split from
Lachey after they'd revealed the inner workings of their marriage on Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica.
"I let people in on who I am and how I react to my husband," Simpson says. "That's a big deal. Celebrities don't do that.
So I think they brought me down just because I stopped talking and because I have not spoken and will not speak about
my divorce. And I think people feel like I owe them my reality right now."
She will say, though, that she thought there was hope for her marriage up until a few days before she and Lachey announced
their split. So what changed? "I watched The Notebook on a plane home to Waco to be with my grandparents," she says. "It's a
great love story."
The movie itself, she says, was "not what sealed it. I just figured out the statement. It was about that moment of

Jessica Simpson has a big fan in Mexico: Mama Lupita, who runs the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo.
"Last week, someone asked Mama Lupita if she could use a van at the orphanage," a source close to Simpson tells PEOPLE.
"Mama Lupita said, 'We have no transportation at all. Of course we could use it.' So then she was told that she was getting
a brand new eight-passenger van from Jessica Simpson for the orphanage."
Adds the source: "She started to cry for three minutes straight and then said, 'I can't wait to give Jessica a big hug.' "
Simpson, 26, had won a Chrysler Crossfire sports car at a swag suite at the MTV's Video Music Awards in the fall, but she
asked Chrysler to exchange it for a minivan so she could help out the orphanage, the source says.
A spokesperson for Chrysler confirms: "Instead of the Chrysler Crossfire, she decided to get a minivan for the orphanage
instead. She went for the Chrysler Town & Country."
The van will be delivered early next month.
And Mama Lupita will soon have another reason to give Simpson a hug: The singer is auctioning off the sexy red dress she
wears in her new Pizza Hut commercial, which debuted during the Super Bowl.
"She selling the dress on eBay," says the source. "Proceeds from the dress will also go to help Casa Hogar."
Why is she doing all of this? "The orphanage means so much to her," the source says. "She wants to help Mama Lupita
