After welcoming baby number three with husband Eric Johnson, it appears that Jessica Simpson is making room for their newest addition at her Hidden Hills mansion. Several builders were pictured on site as the family home was extended to provide even more room for Jessica, husband Eric Johnson and their three kids: Maxwell, six, Ace, five, and five-week-old Birdie.
Workmen were laying down panels of wood in the snapshots as they constructed the new space that connects the main house to another large wing of the mansion. The 38-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer purchased the home in the exclusive California enclave in 2013. Jessica bought the house that was built in 2001 from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne for $11.5million, nearly $1million less than they paid for it in 2007. One of the first things that Jessica did after moving in was install a large model cow in the driveway, giving the home a ranch feel. And the animal statue remains the pride of the place at the property six years later.
While the six bedrooms and separate guest apartment provide ample living space for a family of five, Jessica and Eric have clearly decided they want even more room for their growing brood. Unsurprisingly, their property has everything their children could want to keep them entertained.
