Candids: LAX Airport, November 29 2012

Jessica Simpson arrived at LAX yesterday accompanied by Eric and Maxwell Johnson. The trio took to the skies while rumors are swirling that Jessica is pregnant with her second child. Jessica’s kept to a busy schedule in recent weeks, promoting her eponymous clothing line all over the country. She took a holiday break to spend some quality time with loved ones and to celebrate Maxwell’s first Thanksgiving.

The Simpson sisters, Jessica and Ashlee, have been at the top of headlines this week. While Jessica is reportedly expanding her family, it appears sister Ashlee is newly single. After over a year and a half of dating, Ashlee and Vincent Piazza confirmed their split, with a source close to the couple citing distance as the reason for their breakup.

Gossip: is Jessica Simpson pregnant again?

This is coming from a tabloid and has not been confimed or denied yet!

Christmas is still nearly four weeks away, but Jessica Simpson got her biggest — and totally unexpected! — present early: Another baby on the way! Seven months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, the star is once again expecting, the new issue of Us Weekly exclusively confirms.

“It definitely wasn’t planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again,” a source reveals to Us. The surprise baby-to-be is the second for the singer and Fashion Star mentor, 32, and fiance Eric Johnson. (A rep for Simpson had no comment.)

Engaged for the past two years, Simpson and former NFL pro Johnson, 33, welcomed Maxwell — a whopping 9 pound, 13 ounce bundle of joy! — on May 1 of this year.

And while Simpson felt energized about her admirable 70-pound slimdown post-baby, her greatest inspiration is being a mom.

“Motherhood is a dream,” she told Katie Couric back in September. “It really is absolutely amazing.”

Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to her 5.7 million Twitter followers Nov. 22, she gushed: “I am so grateful for my new lil family!”

Notes the source of pregnancy number two: “She really is overjoyed!”

Jessica Simpson’s Meal Plan: Revealed

Posted On: Tuesday, November 27, 2012 • Leave a comment • Written By:

These days, Jessica Simpson has been looking fantastic. She’s lost most all of her pregnancy weight and seems to be back to her normal bubbly self, at least in front of the cameras. So how did she do it? Well, TMZ got their hands on a copy of Jessica Simpson’s complete diet plan and it looks like the blonde has been eating lots of egg white omelets and whipped chick peas since this summer. The star’s post-pregnancy weight-loss quest kicked off with a 15-day smoothie diet in July and then followed a strict Weight Watchers regimen.

Here’s an example of one day of eating for the star and husband-to-be Eric Johnson (who apparently was on the diet too, perhaps for moral support):

Breakfast: Quinoa apple breakfast cereal

Lunch: Jessica: Seared shrimp with corn tomato salad; organic greens and lite dressing. Eric: Soba noodles in an Asian broth with veggies

Snack: Sliced apples and cheese

Dinner: Jessica: Sesame seared tuna with roasted potatoes and a seasonal side dish. Eric: vegetarian entrée.

Dessert: Grilled peaches

Not too shabby, eh? Well, perhaps if you have a personal chef to whip up said meal plan…

Check out a full copy of Simpson’s menu here, which includes 25 pages mapping out 60+ days’ worth of meals and their corresponding Weight Watchers points.

Jessica Simpson’s 60 Pound Smoothie Slim-Down

She made headlines with her four-million-dollar deal with Weight Watchers and now Jessica Simpson has revealed her dramatic 60-pound weight loss.

The “Come On Over” songstress looks fabulous these days thanks to a smoothie diet plan devised by her private chef in conjunction with WW’s point system.

Additionally, Simpson has been working out four times a week with her celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, who told press Jessica’s progress is nothing short of amazing.

“In over 20 years, I’ve never seen as consistent of a weight loss. Jessica’s right where she needs to be. She’s gotten so much stronger,” gushed Pasternak.

In her previous ad for Weight Watchers, Jessica declared, “I’m Jessica Simpson and yes I’m doing Weight Watchers. There is a lot of pressure to lose weight but I’m not a supermodel. I’m just Jessica trying to eat real food in the real world and I really just want to be healthy for my daughter. So I knew Weight Watchers was the only way to go. It’s working.”

Simpson began with three smoothies a day for five days, followed by two smoothies a day for another five days, and one smoothie a day for three days. She also interspersed meals and snacks accordingly.

Harley Pasternak: 5 Ways to Avoid Blowing Your Diet on Thanksgiving

Posted On: Saturday, November 24, 2012 • Leave a comment • Written By:

Celebrity trainer and PEOPLE.com blogger Harley Pasternak give his top 5 tips for a healthy, happy Thanksgiving. Plus, he shares some holiday recipes from some of his star clients like Jessica Simpson and Megan Fox.

Turkey, stuffing, corn bread, cranberry sauce, apple pie, sweet potatoes with marshmallow topping: Thanksgiving has gone from being a day when we give thanks for everything we have, to a day when we EAT everything we have!

Studies show that people can eat between 3,000 to 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving alone, which is, of course, a lot more than necessary on a generally sedentary day.

While I completely support treating yourself on Thanksgiving, I encourage you to be at least somewhat mindful about what you consume. Studies show that people tend to gain 5 to 7 lbs. between Thanksgiving and Christmas. And I don’t want your health and fitness goals to be set back because of what’s supposed to be a joyous holiday.

Let this Thanksgiving be the first one in which the turkey – and not you – is the thing getting stuffed!
5 Tips for Making Thanksgiving Healthier
1. Walk it out!
The morning of Thanksgiving, go for a brisk walk. If you’re traveling to Thanksgiving dinner, park your car a few blocks away and walk the extra distance. After dinner, get some fresh air and walk around the block. Before you know it, you will have taken a few extra thousand steps, burned off your dessert and helped your digestion!

2. Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch
Filling up on “good calories” on Thanksgiving is key in controlling your appetite come dinnertime. Showing up ravenous to Thanksgiving dinner is never a good idea.

3. Exercise portion control
I know some think this is Thanksgiving sacrilege, but honestly portion control is the name of the game. First, start with a smaller plate. Smaller plates equal smaller portions. Next, follow the 3:2:1 rule: 3 parts veggies, 2 parts protein, 1 part whole grains.

4. Lose the booze!
Not only is alcohol almost twice as calorically dense as carbohydrates and protein, but your body stops burning fat as efficiently when you drink!

5. Take your time
I always say, life’s too short not to enjoy yourself on special days, and Thanksgiving dinner is definitely one of them! So go ahead and cut yourself a piece of mom’s pecan pie – but instead of shoveling it in your mouth, slow down and enjoy each bite.

Try Some of My Clients’ Thanksgiving Recipes
Jessica Simpson’s Broccoli Rice Casserole
The truth is that my client Jessica Simpson – who is looking amazing these days! – loves using Cheese Whiz. But I modified her recipe and substituted real light cheddar cheese to make this holiday casserole more healthy.

Ingredients
• 2 (10 ounce) boxes frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
• 2 cups cooked rice
• 8 ounces shredded lite cheddar cheese
• 2 (10¾ ounce) cans cream of chicken soup. Or you use 1 can each of cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Directions
• Cook onion in oil in a large skillet until soft.
• Add remaining ingredients and cook just until cheese is melted.
• Put in 2 quart casserole dish.
• Bake at 350 (uncovered) for 1 hour.

To make ahead and freeze: Mix all ingredients together (start with your rice cooked, not raw) and spoon into two or even three smaller casserole dishes, cover, label and freeze. If you thaw overnight, just cook for one hour. If cooking from frozen state, add 10 minutes or so, check for doneness.
