I was flipping through Jessica Simpson’s spring look book this morning and it got me so excited to shop for the new season. Not only are the pieces in her line affordable and easy to wear, but there are some really great styling ideas in there too! Come check out a few of the printed styles I love, due to hit shelves this month.
Ironic blouse, $49, Carlislie slouchy pant, $59, Sheri platform, $98. Coming Soon.
Printed pants are a big trend this season, especially in a slouchy, pajama-like fit as seen here. I love the snakeskin print because it pairs so well with bright color tops and neutral heels.
Delhi one-piece, $78, Zeppa platform, $110. Coming Soon.
Okay, it’s not quite swimsuit season yet but I do love this printed one-piece. The neckline is great and the print is bold enough that you could slip on a skirt or shorts, and skip the top entirely, between the pool and beach.
Chinoiserie handkerchief hem dress, $148, Emmali platforms, $98.
A floaty printed dress will take you far in this world – especially during wedding season. I love the asymmetrical hemline and the little waist-defining belt, which ties it all together perfectly. Just add a great lip color and a pair of platform sandals and you’re ready to go.
Sierra Crop Sweater, $59, Greta Skirt $69. Coming Soon. Jamila sandals, $59.
Here’s another printed piece to consider adding to your spring wardrobe: a super easy, go-with-everything skirt. Jessica’s maxi-length version has a casual, boho feel while a shorter skirt, with sporty pleats, would take you to the office or daytime events.
So ladies, are you fan of Jessica Simpson’s clothing line? Which of these printed pieces would you wear? Are you big on print or do you tend to shy away from them? Do tell!
I really love the dress. Jess and Tina have an unbelievable sense of style. :)
