We’ve already told you the resolutions we’d like to see stars like Kim Kardashian and Jessica Simpson make for 2012. But come New Year’s, the stars had their own ideas! Here’s a round-up of New Year’s resolutions from your favorite TV, music and movie stars.

Ashton Kutcher: “In 2012 let’s agree to a resolution to feel one another’s pain & joy, & create the peace we desire through proactive generosity.”

Adam Levine from Maroon 5: “Potential New Year’s resolutions: take more hikes. Start smoking. Communicate. Enjoy. Share. Kill my own food. Make friends with a Lion.”

Jessica Simpson: “To enjoy my last New Year’s without being a mom.”

Kim Kardashian: “Decided to change my twitter background to nothing. i wanna be more simple in 2012.”

Rob Kardashian: “I’m working on a dress-sock line that I want to launch successfully. I have all these crazy patterns in my head!”

Kourtney Kardashian: “Be nicer to Scott!”

Olivia Wilde: “Try to read more novels.”

Miranda Cosgrove: “I used to take kickboxing class a lot, and I haven’t done it in about six months. So I’d like to start doing it again.”

Lea Michele: “My new year’s resolutions are to keep working, doing things that are challenging, exciting and enjoyable. Maybe that will get me closer to my idols, Natalie Wood or Barbra Streisand.”

50 Cent: “Ah man, so many. So many new things to work on myself. I just got to be conscious, more conscious of myself. And try and be a better judge of character with others.”

Chelsea Handler: “I resolve to attempt, at least once, to clean up my dogs’ shadoobies, despite the malodorous stench. Though someone else will have to clean up my vomit.”

Christina Hendricks: “I think balance in life is the key to good health. My goal in 2012 is to maintain balance by finding time to give to others.”

Hilary Swank: “I’ve had the same New Year’s resolution for awhile: Simply slow down once in awhile and take some time for myself. I’m not very good at that.”

Kelly Bensimon from Real Housewives of New York: “My resolution is to finish my January toxic cleanse and get rid of all bad people and habits.”

Alex McCord from Real Housewives of New York: “My resolution is to get better at responding to emails so people won’t think I hate them.”

Abigail Breslin: “To stop saying ‘um.’”

DJ Pauly D: “2011 has been an amazing year and I feel truly blessed. My New Year’s Resolution is to use the blessings I’ve been given this past year to make a difference in any way I can in 2012.”

Elle Fanning: “My resolution is to stop biting my nails. I bite my nails so bad that I can’t wear polish!”

Cheryl Burke: “To focus more time on my personal life. Everything has been focused so much on my career, which is amazing, but I feel like the rest of my life has suffered a lot.”

Jessica Biel: “I’d like to learn another language. But I say that every year — I’ve said that for about 12 years now!”
