New Year’s Reflections

Looking back on the months gone by,
As a new year starts and an old one ends,
We contemplate what brought us joy,
And we think of our loved ones and our friends.

Recalling all the happy times,
Remembering how they enriched our lives,
We reflect upon who really counts,
As the fresh and bright new year arrives.

And when I ponder those who do,
I immediately think of you.

Thanks for being one of the reasons I’ll have a Happy New Year!

Jessica used to keep an online journal on her official website back in the day JessicaCentral.com (now her official website is JessicaSimpson.com). She used to share a lot of her experiences from the Heat It Up tour with 98 Degrees, Ricky Martin tour and various international adventures – with fans. She addressed some rumors in there as well. I’ve put up a page with 30 of her old journal entries for the fans who may not have been fans back then – it’s so fun to read and it gives you a glimpse into her mind at the time which is just so interesting!

I’ve also added the messages Jessica used to send me to the page also, to keep it more complete and so it’s all in one place. I really enjoyed reading all of them again, Jess is so wise and such an inspiration! Hope you enjoy this page as much as I do! HAPPY NEW YEAR! =)

Enjoying their last few weeks before the baby’s arrival, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson were spotted grabbing a bite to eat in Brentwood, CA on Tuesday afternoon (December 27).

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson strolled hand in hand for a Starbucks run in Malibu on Sunday. The two split the holidays with family this year, spending Thanksgiving in Boston with the Johnsons and Christmas at home in LA with the Simpson crew. Jessica took care of the Christmas dinner shopping and was also all smiles as she stepped out for some last-minute errands with Bronx on Friday. 2012 is going to be exciting for Jessica and Eric as they both become first-time parents. Jessica’s first red carpet showing off her pregnancy made our best celebrity pictures of 2011 slideshow, and we can already predict their little one will be one of the most exciting new arrivals of next year.

Jessica Simpson was all smiles as she stepped out to pick up groceries at a Bristol Farms in LA on Christmas Eve. The pregnant star spent the holiday home in California with her family, including fiance Eric Johnson. Jessica and Eric divided up the time with their families this season, which meant Thanksgiving in Boston with his. Even for the casual trip to the store, Jessica was sporting high heels, which she says she’ll be rocking right up until the delivery room. Jessica did go casual in Uggs and sweats, however, to take care of last minute shopping with her nephew Bronx on Friday.
