Eric Johnson held hands with Jessica Simpson yesterday as they visited a farmers market near LA and walked his furry friend Bentley. The casual couple, dressed down in sweats for the grocery stop and dog duty, left with bags full of vegetables. The low-key outing came after the pair hit the town on Wednesday night to celebrate Eric’s 32nd birthday. Jessica’s sister Ashlee was on hand for the soiree, as was her new guy, Boardwalk Empire’s Vincent Piazza. We caught up with Vincent last night at the HBO Emmys afterparty, where he told us it was great having Ashlee by his side at the recent NYC premiere for his show, and said that they’re having a lot of fun. Meanwhile, Jessica and Eric’s relationship is also going strong, but they seem to be taking their time planning their upcoming nuptials. The engaged duo hasn’t revealed their wedding date and Jessica recently said she still hadn’t found a gown. Whether or not the pair ties the knot in the coming months, it will be a busy Fall and Winter for Jessica professionally. She continues to grow her business empire, and will helm the new series Fashion Star — a TV reality competition for designers — when it airs in February.
