Jessica Ann Johnson (July 10, 1980) is an American singer, actress, and fashion designer. Simpson signed a recording contract with Columbia Records when she was sixteen, and released her debut studio album Sweet Kisses in 1999. Jessica’s career as a singer really took off from here.
Jessica and her ex-husband Nick Lachey both starred in the reality tv series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica that went viral back in 2003.
Today Jessica is an entrepreneur with an empire in the fashion industry. She owns her own clothing line including accessories and recently launched a beauty line. Jessica is married to Eric Johnson since 2014, whom she has three children with: Maxwell Drew Johnson, Birdie Mae Johnson, Ace Knute Johnson.

Rumour has it that Jessica Simpson is to marry fiance Eric Johnson on the island of Kauai in Hawaii on November 11 2011. Jessica visited Kauai with ex-husband and Newlyweds co-star, Nick Lachey before they got engaged.
During season 4 of Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica, Jessica, Ken Paves and Cacee Cobb settled down to a game of Scattergories. The letter ‘K’ came up when the dice was rolled – Jessica and Ken’s answer was ‘Kauai’ but Jessica can’t pronounce it!
