Jessica Ann Johnson (July 10, 1980) is an American singer, actress, and fashion designer. Simpson signed a recording contract with Columbia Records when she was sixteen, and released her debut studio album Sweet Kisses in 1999. Jessica’s career as a singer really took off from here.
Jessica and her ex-husband Nick Lachey both starred in the reality tv series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica that went viral back in 2003.
Today Jessica is an entrepreneur with an empire in the fashion industry. She owns her own clothing line including accessories and recently launched a beauty line. Jessica is married to Eric Johnson since 2014, whom she has three children with: Maxwell Drew Johnson, Birdie Mae Johnson, Ace Knute Johnson.

Just days after Nick Lachey announced his engagement to Vanessa Minnillo, Us Weekly is reporting that Jessica Simpson is now engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson.
Us Weekly notes that Simpson wore a “sizable ring on her left hand” while at an in-store appearance on Saturday at a Dillard’s in the Oak Park Mall in Kansas City.
And it’s true, she was wearing a ring, but Gossip Cop has yet to confirm whether Simpson is actually engaged.
We’ve reached out to her rep, but have yet to hear back.
