Jessica Simpson is taking her Price of Beauty message to heart.
The VH1 reality star, 29, has been tapped to present the “Goddess” category at Good Housekeeping’s 125th anniversary celebration in New York City April 12. The award goes to women who have changed lives through their sheer beauty, glamour and grace.
“While traveling for my show The Price of Beauty, I’ve seen the different ways that beauty is defined around the world,” Simpson says in a statement to UsMagazine.com. “I believe that true beauty comes from within a woman’s spirit, mind, and inner strength. I am thrilled to be celebrating some of the greatest and most beautiful women of our time at Good Housekeeping’s 125th Anniversary benefit for the National Women’s History Museum.”
Other stars slated to attend are Brooke Shields, Meryl Streep, Kristen Bell, Aretha Franklin, Candice Bergen and Fran Drescher.
Simpson traveled the world to film her show, which premiered to just 1 million viewers on March 15.
